The Tektronix TDS3000B Series is a family of Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes that packs digital phosphor waveform acquisition technology, automatic anomaly detection, web-based remote control, and seven application-specific modules into a lightweight, battery-capable design. The series spans six models — the TDS3012B, TDS3014B, TDS3032B, TDS3034B, TDS3052B, and TDS3054B — differing in bandwidth, channel count, and sample rate while sharing a common architecture, full VGA color LCD, 25 automatic measurements, and the QuickMenu graphical user interface for easy operation.
Tektronix lists the TDS3000B Series for telecommunications, manufacturing test, digital design and debug, video installation and service, and power supply design. Application-specific modules extend the instrument toward several of these tasks — telecommunications mask testing, FFT for frequency and harmonic analysis, advanced triggering, limit testing for Go/No-Go decisions, and extended and serial digital video — letting a single platform be configured for the work at hand.
ValueTronics stocks the test and measurement equipment it sells from a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house by our technicians before it ships, while new units leave the building factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.
The TDS3000B Series comprises six Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope models that share one architecture but differ along three axes: analog bandwidth (100 MHz, 300 MHz, or 500 MHz), channel count (2 or 4), and the per-channel sample rate that scales with bandwidth. All six carry the same 10 K record length, 9-bit vertical resolution, full VGA color LCD, 25 automatic measurements, WaveAlert anomaly detection, built-in Ethernet with e*Scope, and battery-capable portability.
Because the models are differentiated primarily by headline performance rather than feature set, choosing among them is largely a matter of matching bandwidth, channel count, and sample rate to the signals under test. The comparison table below lays out those per-model values side by side.
Each model in the TDS3000B Series below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the pre-owned unit for the specific model that fits your bandwidth and channel requirements, and the page will reflect availability and pricing for that pre-owned configuration.
The TDS3012B is the 2-channel, 100 MHz model in the series, sampling at 1.25 GS/s per channel with a time base range of 4 ns/div to 10 s/div and a 20 MHz bandwidth limit. It ships with two P3010 10X passive probes and the same 10 K record length, 9-bit resolution, and DPO acquisition shared across the family.
The models step through three bandwidth tiers paired with matching sample rates: 100 MHz at 1.25 GS/s (TDS3012B, TDS3014B), 300 MHz at 2.5 GS/s (TDS3032B, TDS3034B), and 500 MHz at 5 GS/s (TDS3052B, TDS3054B). Within each tier the suffix distinguishes channel count — the 2-channel and 4-channel variants — and the 100 MHz models offer a 20 MHz bandwidth limit while the 300 MHz and 500 MHz models add a 20/150 MHz selectable limit.
Time base range also tracks bandwidth, reaching 4 ns/div on the 100 MHz models, 2 ns/div on the 300 MHz models, and 1 ns/div on the 500 MHz models, with 10 s/div the slow end throughout. Standard probes differ as well: the 100 MHz models include P3010 10X passive probes, while the 300 MHz and 500 MHz models include P6139A 10X passive probes. Consult the comparison table for the exact per-model values.

| TDS3012B | 100 MHz | 2 | 1.25 GS/s |
| TDS3014B | 100 MHz | 4 | 1.25 GS/s |
| TDS3032B | 300 MHz | 2 | 2.5 GS/s |
| TDS3034B | 300 MHz | 4 | 2.5 GS/s |
