Accessibility Statement

ValueTronics International, LLC wants everyone to be able to browse our catalog, request quotes and buy test and measurement equipment on valuetronics.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we are doing

  • We review the site regularly against WCAG 2.2 AA, using automated testing and manual checks with a keyboard and screen readers.
  • Pages can be zoomed and enlarged on phones and computers.
  • Every part of the site can be reached with a keyboard, including the menus and the cart, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Form fields have labels, and product images have text descriptions.
  • We check text and price colours for readable contrast.
  • We fix accessibility problems as we find them and test new pages and features before they go live.

Known limitations

  • Datasheets and manuals: many product datasheets and manuals are PDF files supplied by the equipment manufacturers and may not be fully accessible. If you need information from one of these documents in another format, contact us and we will help.
  • Older product images: we are adding more detailed text descriptions to product photos across our catalog of more than 20,000 products.
  • Third-party services: some features, such as checkout, customer sign-in, live chat and reviews, are provided by third parties. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but we do not fully control their content.
  • Videos: we are adding captions to videos with spoken content.
