The Keysight InfiniiVision 4000 X-Series is a family of digital storage (DSO) and mixed-signal (MSO) oscilloscopes engineered for next-generation debugging performance. Positioned as the "oscilloscope experience redefined," the series pairs fast waveform update rates that display the most signal detail with a large capacitive touch interface and a fully upgradable architecture that integrates the capabilities of seven instruments in one, protecting the investment as project requirements grow.
The series is built to capture the anomalies and elusive events that are toughest to debug, giving a high probability of catching random and infrequent events. With 16 integrated digital channels it addresses embedded designs that carry sophisticated digital control circuitry, providing up to 20 channels of time-correlated triggering, acquisition, and viewing. Application-specific capabilities extend coverage to power measurements on switching power supplies and power devices, USB 2.0 signal quality testing, HDTV video triggering and analysis, and frequency response analysis of passive filters, amplifier circuits, and the loop response of switch-mode power supplies.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, so the instruments offered here are equipment we keep on hand. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer. Since 1992, that combination of held inventory and hands-on verification has let engineers and labs buy test equipment with confidence.
Hewlett-Packard's test and measurement business was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999, and that instrument business was subsequently established as Keysight Technologies in 2014. The InfiniiVision oscilloscope line carries forward under the Keysight name today.
The InfiniiVision 4000 X-Series spans eight models that share a common architecture while differing in bandwidth and channel count. Every model offers the same 12.1-inch capacitive touch display, MegaZoom IV smart memory technology, standard segmented memory, and the fully upgradable 7-in-1 instrument integration, so the operating experience stays consistent across the line. The architecture is upgradable in the field, including bandwidth, allowing a unit to grow with project requirements.
Each model is available as a digital storage oscilloscope (DSOX) or, with the 16 integrated digital channels enabled, as a mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSOX). The digital channels can be activated at any time to convert a 2- or 4-channel DSO into an MSO, providing up to 20 channels of time-correlated acquisition.
Each model below links to its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing for the pre-owned configuration. Compare the bandwidth, channel count, and configuration options across the family, then select the specific model and condition that fit your application.
The models are organized into bandwidth tiers: 200 MHz (4022A/4024A), 350 MHz (4032A/4034A), 500 MHz (4052A/4054A), 1 GHz (4104A), and 1.5 GHz (4154A), with calculated rise times tightening from <= 1.75 ns at 200 MHz to <= 300 ps at 1.5 GHz. Within the 200, 350, and 500 MHz tiers both 2-channel and 4-channel configurations are available, while the 1 GHz and 1.5 GHz models are 4-channel; the 1 GHz and 1.5 GHz models also add equivalent-time sampling up to 128 GSa/s. See the comparison table for the per-model bandwidth, rise time, and channel details.
All models share the same 5 GSa/s half-channel sample rate, up to 4 Mpts of memory, and a greater-than-one-million-waveforms-per-second update rate, so the differences between models center on analog bandwidth and channel count rather than acquisition performance. USB 2.0 hi-speed signal trigger and decode is available on the 1 GHz and 1.5 GHz models, with USB 2.0 hi-speed signal quality testing supported on the 1.5 GHz models.

Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Model Performance Characteristics | |
| Bandwidth (–3 dB) | 200 MHz |
| All-channel real-time bandwidth | 200 MHz |
| Calculated rise time (10 to 90%) | ≤ 1.75 ns |
| Input channels | 2 analog |
| System bandwidth with N2894A standard passive probe | 200 MHz |
| Time base range | 2 ns/div to 50 s/div |
| Pulse width / pattern / runt minimum duration | 6 ns |
| Rise/fall time trigger minimum | 3 ns |
Important: Maximum input voltage (1 MOhm): 135 Vrms, 190 Vpk. Use this instrument only for measurements within its specified measurement category (not rated for CAT II, III, IV). No transient overvoltage allowed.
Important: USB 2.0 hi-speed signal trigger and decode are supported on ≥ 1.0 GHz models (4104A and 4154A) only; USB 2.0 hi-speed signal quality tests are supported on the 1.5 GHz model (4154A) only.
Important: The dual-channel WaveGen 20 MHz function/arbitrary waveform generator (DSOX4WAVEGEN2) is an option and is not included in the base oscilloscope.
Important: Mixed-signal (16 digital channel) operation requires an MSO model or the DSOXPERFMSO upgrade; the N2756A 16-digital-channel MSO cable is included on MSO models and delivered separately with the DSOXPERFMSO upgrade.
Recommended pairing: the DSOXBODE Bode plot training kit, a series R-L-C circuit board that attaches directly to the WaveGen output, supports frequency response (Bode plot) analysis with clearly labeled VIN and filter-output test points.
