Features:
The Teledyne LeCroy ZS2500 Active Voltage Probe provides high impedance and an extensive set of probe tips and ground accessories to handle a wide range of probing scenarios. The high 1 MΩ input resistance and low 0.9 pF input capacitance means this probe is ideal for all frequencies.
The Teledyne LeCroy ZS2500A High-Impedance Active Voltage Oscilloscope Probe maintains high signal fidelity through 2.5 GHz. A small form factor and wide variety of available accessories ensure that this probe meets every difficult probing challenge.
High Impedance Reduces Circuit Loading Across Oscilloscope Bandwidth
Engineers must commonly probe high-frequency signals with high signal fidelity. Typical passive probes with input resistance and capacitance provide a good response at lower frequencies, but inappropriately load the circuit and distort signals at higher frequencies. The ZS2500A features both high input resistance (1 MΩ) and low input capacitance (0.6 pF) to reduce circuit loading across the entire probe and oscilloscope bandwidth.
A Variety of Probe Tips for Varied Tasks
The small form factor and the extensive range of standard probe tips ensure that this probe can meet any difficult probing challenge. Various flexible leads and clips, such as right-angle leads, Y-adapters, and micro-grabbers, are available for probing test points that are spaced farther apart. The small, low-mass probe head itself is designed for high performance with ease of use. The probe tip socket fits easily into 0.025 inch square pins for direct access to test points. Several available adapters connect directly to the probe socket. The ground socket accepts several different ground leads to provide a short ground path for optimal high-frequency performance.
Innovative Grounding Provides High Signal Fidelity
Keeping the ground loop short is critical to eliminating the effect of high inductance on the signal. The ZS2500A is compatible with a wide variety of unique and innovative accessories that maintain the highest signal fidelity. These accessories eliminate the effects of the loop on the circuit.
ProBus Interface
With the ProBus interface, the probe becomes an integral part of the oscilloscope and is controlled from the oscilloscope's front panel. The oscilloscope provides power to the probe, so there is no need for a separate power supply or batteries.
