View full details

The Rohde & Schwarz R&S SGT100A is an I/Q-modulated SGMA vector RF source. In its base configuration it generates signals across a frequency range of 1 MHz to 3 GHz, with an optional frequency extension raising the upper limit to 6 GHz. It is described as a dedicated ATE digital source, built around a wear-free electronic attenuator and controlled through high-speed PCI Express, Ethernet, and USB interfaces.

As a dedicated ATE digital source, the R&S SGT100A is designed for automated test environments where fast and repeatable signal generation is required. The external R&S SGMA GUI software enables remote control of multiple instruments, and the instrument is field-upgradeable so its capabilities can be expanded over time. With the appropriate options it generates modulated signals for cellular, wireless-connectivity, navigation, and broadcast digital standards, and supports envelope-tracking and predistortion test setups.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer. Holding inventory on-site lets our team match the right instrument and option configuration to each application and ship it promptly.

Important: Maximum permissible reverse RF power at the output: 0.5 W. Maximum permissible DC voltage at the RF power connector: 35 V.
Important: R&S®WinIQSIM2™ requires an external PC; the digital modulation system options (e.g. 5G NR, LTE, GSM/EDGE, 3GPP FDD, WLAN, navigation and broadcast standards) generate their waveforms with R&S®WinIQSIM2 on an external PC.
Important: Recommended calibration interval is 3 years for 40 h/week operation in the full range of the specified environmental conditions.
Recommended pairing: the optional R&S SGT-K18 digital baseband connectivity provides a lossless digital I/Q link to other Rohde & Schwarz instruments such as the R&S SMW200A vector signal generator.
