The Extech SD800 is a multifunction air quality datalogger that measures Carbon Dioxide (CO2), relative humidity, and temperature on a single instrument. It records all three parameters onto an SD card in Excel format with a date and time stamp, allowing readings to be transferred to a PC for data analysis. A triple LCD shows CO2, temperature, and relative humidity simultaneously, and the CO2 reading is taken with a maintenance-free dual-wavelength NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) sensor.
The SD800 is intended for monitoring air quality in schools, office buildings, greenhouses, hospitals, and anywhere that high levels of carbon dioxide are generated. In each of these environments the instrument tracks CO2 concentration alongside temperature and humidity, building a time-stamped record that supports later review of how conditions changed over a logging period.
