The Fluke Calibration P5514B is a hydraulic pressure comparator — a manually operated test pump that supplies the same precisely controlled pressure to a reference gauge and to a device under test for side-by-side calibration. The unit generates pressure from 0 to 10,000 psi (70 MPa, or 700 bar), making it suitable for calibrating pressure gauges, pressure switches, and pressure transducers across a wide working range. A Vernier fine adjustment control allows the operator to dial in cardinal pressure points precisely, which is what makes the comparator useful for formal calibration work rather than rough pressure generation alone.
A pressure comparator generates pressure hydraulically and routes it simultaneously to two test ports — one for the reference instrument and one for the device under test. The P5514B is designed for checking pressure measuring instruments against master test gauges, indicators, or transducers, and it incorporates several features from the Fluke Calibration hydraulic deadweight tester line. The rotating collar design on the test ports allows DUTs to be connected and disconnected without tools, and the supplied adapter set covers common NPT and BSP fittings (two 1/4 NPT, plus one each of 1/2 NPT, 1/4 BSP, and 1/2 BSP), so most field-standard pressure instruments connect directly without sourcing additional hardware.
Fluke Calibration is the calibration and metrology division of Fluke Corporation, which has been part of Fortive Corporation since 2016 when Fortive was spun off from Danaher. The Fluke Calibration product line incorporates hydraulic deadweight tester and pressure standards technology developed under the DH Instruments and Pressurements brands, both of which were acquired by Fluke and consolidated under the Fluke Calibration name.
The P5514B is offered both as a standalone hydraulic comparison test pump and as part of pre-configured pressure calibrator bundles that pair the comparator with one or more Fluke 2700G Reference Pressure Gauges. The standalone variants differ only by seal material — Viton for general hydraulic fluids, or Ethylene Propylene for aggressive fluids such as solvents, fuel oils, and brake fluids — while the calibrator bundles differ by the number and ranges of reference gauges included.
Some bundle configurations are also designated P5510/14B, meaning the same gauge set can be supplied with either the P5510 (lower-range) or P5514B (10,000 psi / 70 MPa) comparator chassis depending on the workload pressure range required. Accredited (/C) variants are also offered, which include ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration documentation on the reference gauges.
Each P5514B configuration linked below is its own product page with new-matched pricing. Confirm the model code on your purchase order matches the seal material, gauge bundle, and accreditation level your application requires before issuing the order.
The P5514B is the 10,000 psi (70 MPa) member of the Fluke Calibration hydraulic comparator family. Within its own configurations, the choice points are seal material (Viton vs. Ethylene Propylene) and whether the comparator is purchased standalone or bundled with Fluke 2700G Reference Pressure Gauges to form a complete calibrator.
The P5514B-70M and P5514B-70M-EP are the same pump mechanically — the difference is the seal material, and the choice is driven by the fluid the customer intends to pressurize. Specify EP only when the application requires it, since Viton is the standard.
The P5514B-2700G-1, -3, -4, and -6 bundles add one, three, four, or six Fluke 2700G reference gauges respectively to the comparator. The -1 bundle is a single-range calibrator; the -3 covers three ranges (the documented -3 bundle spans –12 psi to 10,000 psi); the -4 and -6 bundles are offered on the shared P5510/14B chassis designation and extend the calibrated workload across additional ranges. Accredited (/C) variants of each bundle add ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration documentation on the included reference gauges.
