The Keysight N5700 Series is a family of affordable basic system DC power supplies built around a compact 1 U package. It comprises 24 single-output programmable models that deliver output voltage and current from 6 V to 600 V and 1.3 A to 180 A, organized into 750 W and 1500 W output-power classes. Each model provides stable output power together with built-in voltage and current measurement for simple DC power applications.
The series carries system-ready features such as multiple standard I/O interfaces intended to simplify and accelerate test-system development. It is aimed at R&D, design validation, and manufacturing engineers working in the aerospace/defense, automotive, component, and communications industries, where a programmable single-output DC source supports bench and rack test setups.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive, Elgin, Illinois, so the instruments offered are kept on hand rather than sourced on demand. That combination lets engineers and labs buy a programmable DC supply with confidence in both its condition and its availability.
Keysight Technologies traces its test-and-measurement roots to Hewlett-Packard, whose instrument business was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999. In 2014, Agilent's electronic measurement business was established as Keysight Technologies, the independent company that issues this product line today.
The N5700 Series is a family of affordable basic system DC power supplies consisting of 24 single-output programmable models. Across the family, output voltage and current range from 6 V to 600 V and 1.3 A to 180 A, with each unit falling into either the 750 W or the 1500 W output-power class. All models share the same compact 1 U package, built-in voltage and current measurement, full over-voltage and over-current protection, and universal 85-265 Vac input.
Every model in the series carries GPIB, Ethernet/LAN, and USB 2.0 interfaces as standard and is fully LXI Class C compliant, with a common command-compatibility set for Sorensen DLM, Xantrex XFR, and Keysight 603x series supplies. The result is a consistent system-integration experience regardless of which voltage, current, and power combination a given application requires.
Each new model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the specific voltage, current, and power-class model that matches your application, and use the comparison table to confirm the exact output ratings before ordering.
The models differ primarily in their DC output ratings and power class. The 750 W group spans the N5741A through N5752A and the 1500 W group spans the N5761A through N5772A, with output voltages stepping from 6 V up to 600 V and corresponding current ratings decreasing as voltage rises. The comparison table below lists each model's rated voltage, current, and power so the correct unit can be matched to the application.
Output terminal isolation also varies by voltage class: for units rated 6 V to 60 V, no output terminal may be more than +/-60 VDC from any other terminal or chassis ground, while for units rated 80 V to 600 V the limit is +/-600 VDC. Per-model figures for ripple and noise, programming accuracy, measurement accuracy, over-voltage protection range, and response times follow the same tiered pattern and are detailed per model in the specification data.
| Model | Output Voltage | Output Current | Output Power |

| N5742A | 8 V | 90 A | 720 W |
| N5743A | 12.5 V | 60 A | 750 W |

Important: Shock Hazard: for models up to 60 VDC rated output, no point on the output may be more than +/-60 VDC above or below chassis ground; for models greater than 60 VDC rated output, no point on the positive output may be more than +/-600 VDC, and no point on the negative output more than +/-400 VDC, above or below chassis ground.
Important: The N5740A rack mount slide kit is required for rack mounting; standard System II rack-mounting hardware will not work (ordered separately as an accessory).
Important: Option NGP8 (USB & LAN only, no GPIB interface) is not available for Korea.
Important: Altitude derating: operation up to 3000 meters; derate the output current by 2%/100 m above 2000 m and derate the maximum ambient temperature by 1 °C/100 m above 2000 m.
