The Keysight N3300 Series is a family of modular DC electronic loads built to increase manufacturing test throughput without increasing floorspace. Rather than a single fixed instrument, the series is a configurable platform: two mainframes and six load modules that combine to sink power from a device under test. An electronic load absorbs power from a source — the opposite of a power supply — simulating the real-world loading conditions a device faces in operation, which makes the N3300 Series a core building block of power supply, battery charger, and DC-to-DC converter test systems.
The series is aimed at high-volume manufacturing test and ATE applications. It is used to test power supplies and battery chargers, to test multiple-output DC power supplies and DC-to-DC converters by measuring every output simultaneously, and to test both low-voltage and high-current power sources. A dedicated DC connection terminal supports ATE applications, and module-level parallel operation lets a system sink the higher currents demanded by high-current supplies. The platform is designed so a single test system can cover a variety of products today and be reconfigured for additional products and assemblies in the future.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, so the instruments we list are equipment we actually keep on hand. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house against the manufacturer's specifications before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer. That combination lets buyers source a modular load configuration with confidence in both its provenance and its condition.
Keysight Technologies traces its measurement heritage to Hewlett-Packard, whose test and measurement business was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999. Agilent's electronic measurement division then became the independent Keysight Technologies in 2014, the name under which this product line is published today.
The N3300 Series is a modular platform rather than a single instrument: it consists of two mainframes and six load modules. The N3300A is a full-rack-width mainframe with six module slots, and the N3301A is a half-rack-width mainframe with two slots. Any assortment of the six modules can be installed up to a mainframe's slot capacity, so a system can be built to supply exactly what is needed now and reconfigured later.
Because the modules differ in input ratings and power, the right configuration depends on the supplies and assemblies being tested. The comparison table below lays out each module's current, voltage, and power ratings so the correct combination of mainframe and modules can be matched to the application.
Each pre-owned model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the mainframe or module that fits your configuration to see its specific availability and price for the pre-owned condition.
The six load modules differ primarily in current, voltage, and power ratings, and in how many mainframe slots they occupy. The 150 W, 250 W, and 300 W modules each require a single slot, while the 500 W and 600 W modules each require two slots — a factor that determines how many modules a given mainframe can hold. Input ratings across the modules range up to 0–240 V on the voltage side and up to 0–120 A on the current side, as detailed in the comparison table.
The two mainframes differ in width and capacity: the N3300A is full rack width with six slots and the N3301A is half rack width with two slots, and they also differ in input current, input VA, inrush current, and weight. Refer to the comparison table that follows for the per-model input ratings, slot requirements, and physical specifications that distinguish each member of the family.

Important: Maximum continuous power is derated linearly from 100% of maximum at 40 °C to 75% of maximum at 55 °C.
Important: The N3302A–N3307A load modules are not standalone instruments; they install into the N3300A (full rack, 6 slots) or N3301A (half rack, 2 slots) mainframe and require a mainframe to operate. The N3305A and N3306A are double-wide and each occupy two slots.
Important: Specifications indicate warranted performance in the 25 °C ± 5 °C region of the operating temperature range and apply to normal and transient modes unless otherwise noted.
Important: Measurement specifications may degrade when the unit is subject to an RF field of 3 V/meter, line spikes of 500 V, or an 8 kV electrostatic discharge.
Important: DC current accuracy specifications apply 30 seconds after input current is applied.
Important: Output terminals can be floated up to ± 300 VDC from chassis ground.
Important: Below 3 volts, the maximum bandwidth (slew rate) of the electronic load is reduced by a factor of ten to one.
Important: No service manual is available for this product.
Important: Rack mounting in Keysight rack cabinets requires support rails or slides (e.g., E3663AC), which are ordered separately.
