The Keysight InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series is a family of entry-level benchtop oscilloscopes designed to deliver more capability for budget-conscious engineering and educational benches. The series spans six base models — the 2002A, 2004A, 2012A, 2014A, 2022A, and 2024A — covering 70 MHz, 100 MHz, and 200 MHz bandwidth tiers in both 2-channel and 4-channel DSO configurations, with mixed-signal (MSO) variants that add 8 integrated digital timing channels for time-correlated analog-and-digital debug.
Keysight positions the 2000 X-Series as a five-instruments-in-one platform for engineers, educators, and design labs that need bench versatility without buying separate instruments. The same chassis serves as a digital storage oscilloscope, an 8-channel logic timing analyzer (with the MSO upgrade), a 20 MHz WaveGen function generator (with the WaveGen option, including AM, FM, and FSK modulation capability), a hardware-based serial protocol triggering and decode tool for embedded buses (I²C, SPI, UART/RS232/422/485, CAN, LIN), and an integrated 3-digit digital voltmeter with a 5-digit frequency counter that operates through the same probes as the scope channels.
ValueTronics has supported professional test and measurement procurement since 1992, with all inventory housed and tested in our 20,000 sq ft secure facility at 1675 Cambridge Drive, Elgin, Illinois. {{CONDITION}} InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series oscilloscopes sold through ValueTronics ship from our domestic warehouse with the documentation and accessory verification that professional engineering and education customers expect when sourcing a multi-function bench instrument.
Keysight Technologies was established as the electronic measurement business of Agilent Technologies in 2014, following Agilent's 1999 spinoff from Hewlett-Packard. The InfiniiVision product family carries the test and measurement engineering heritage of that HP-to-Agilent-to-Keysight lineage, which remains the longest continuous design history of any major oscilloscope brand in the industry.
The InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series is offered as six base configurations spanning two channel counts (2 or 4 analog channels) and three bandwidth tiers (70 MHz, 100 MHz, and 200 MHz). Each base model is available as a DSO (analog-only) or as an MSO with 8 integrated digital timing channels added.
All six models share the same MegaZoom IV ASIC, 2 GSa/s maximum sample rate, 1 Mpt-per-channel memory, 8.5-inch WVGA display, 200,000 waveforms-per-second update rate, integrated 3-digit DVM and 5-digit counter, and standard segmented memory. The differences across the family are bandwidth, calculated rise time, channel count, and time base range.
Each new 2000 X-Series model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing and the specific accessory and probe configuration listed for that page. Use the comparison table to identify the bandwidth and channel count that fits the application, then navigate to the model page for full details.
Bandwidth and rise time scale across the three tiers: the 2002A and 2004A are rated at 70 MHz with ≤5 ns calculated rise time, the 2012A and 2014A at 100 MHz with ≤3.5 ns, and the 2022A and 2024A at 200 MHz with ≤1.75 ns. The 200 MHz models also have an extended time base range starting at 2 ns/div, compared to 5 ns/div on the 70 MHz and 100 MHz models. Standard included passive probes are bandwidth-matched: N2841A 150 MHz probes ship with the 70 and 100 MHz models, and N2842A 300 MHz probes ship with the 200 MHz models.
Channel count is the second differentiator: the 2002A, 2012A, and 2022A are 2-channel DSOs, while the 2004A, 2014A, and 2024A are 4-channel DSOs. MSO variants (MSOX prefix) of each model add 8 digital timing channels for a total of 10 or 12 simultaneous channels. All other performance and feature characteristics — sample rate, memory depth, display, update rate, integrated DVM and counter, segmented memory, and upgrade paths — are identical across the family.
