The Anritsu MS8609A Digital Mobile Radio Transmitter Tester combines a spectrum analyzer, modulation analyzer, and power meter into a single 9 kHz to 13.2 GHz instrument. The integrated architecture is designed to support every measurement needed across the development, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance phases of base station and mobile station equipment from one chassis rather than a multi-instrument rack.
The MS8609A is positioned for digital mobile radio transmitter test across multiple air interfaces. With the appropriate licensed measurement software, the instrument supports W-CDMA, GSM and EDGE, cdmaOne and CDMA2000 1xRTT, and π/4DQPSK systems including PDC, PHS, and NADC. The same instrument handles development-bench characterization, production-line go/no-go testing through its GPIB automation interface, and field installation and maintenance work on deployed base stations.
ValueTronics has been supplying test and measurement equipment to engineering and production teams since 1992 and operates from a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, where every instrument is received, inspected, and prepared for shipment by our in-house team. Unlike drop-shippers and pass-through brokers, we take physical custody of the equipment we sell so that condition, accessory completeness, and functional status are known before the unit leaves our dock.
Anritsu Corporation is a Japanese test and measurement manufacturer with a long-established presence in cellular infrastructure and digital mobile radio test. Anritsu acquired the U.S. RF instrument maker Wiltron in 1990, with Wiltron operating as a subsidiary until the brand was fully consolidated into Anritsu in 1997.
