The HT Instruments HT65 is a CAT IV true-RMS digital multimeter rated for DC voltage measurement up to 1500 V. It uses TRMS conversion for accurate readings on both AC voltage and AC current, and combines a broad set of electrical measurement functions in a single handheld instrument carrying a CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V to-ground measurement category with double insulation.

A digital multimeter measures fundamental electrical quantities — voltage, current, resistance and related parameters — and presents the result on a numeric display. The HT65 extends that core role across a wide function set: DC and AC TRMS voltage, a low-impedance (LoZ) voltage mode, DC and AC current via transducer clamps, resistance and continuity, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, diode test, and temperature with a Type K probe.
