The GPC-6030D and GPC-3060D are triple-output linear DC power supplies in Instek's GPC-D series, each rated at 375 W of total output. Both models share the same chassis and feature set, differing only in how their two main outputs are configured: the GPC-6030D provides two 0–60 V / 0–3 A channels, while the GPC-3060D provides two 0–30 V / 0–6 A channels. A third fixed 5 V / 3 A output is included on both models to power digital logic alongside the variable supplies.
These supplies are general-purpose bench instruments aimed at applications that need clean, regulated DC across multiple rails simultaneously. The two main outputs can be operated independently, or combined through the front-panel mode select for auto series operation (yielding up to double the rated voltage at the rated current) or auto parallel operation (yielding up to double the rated current at the rated voltage). Each channel operates in either constant voltage or constant current mode, with automatic crossover between the two as the load conditions change.
ValueTronics International, LLC stocks and supports the GPC-6030D and GPC-3060D from our 20,000-square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive, Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inventoried, inspected, and prepared for shipment by our team in Elgin — not drop-shipped from a third party or routed through a broker. That direct ownership of the inventory and the testing process is what allows us to stand behind the condition described on the listing and to answer specific questions about an individual unit before it ships.
The GPC-D series in this datasheet covers two models — the GPC-6030D and the GPC-3060D — built on a common 375 W triple-output linear platform. Both share the same chassis, the same fixed 5 V / 3 A auxiliary output, the same tracking and series/parallel modes, and the same metering and protection feature set. The difference between the two is entirely in how the 375 W of available output power is divided between voltage and current on the two main channels.
Because the two models share so much, the choice between them is driven by the device under test rather than by any difference in build quality or feature set. The GPC-6030D favors higher voltage with lower current per channel; the GPC-3060D favors lower voltage with higher current per channel. In auto series or auto parallel mode, each model effectively doubles one axis of its envelope using its two main channels together.
Each pre-owned model linked below is offered as its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing and accessory disclosure. The pages share the same datasheet content because the underlying specifications are identical between models within each output configuration; what differs page to page is the specific output envelope and the unit-level condition information.
Comparing the two models directly: the GPC-6030D provides 0–60 V at 0–3 A per main channel (independent), 0–120 V at 3 A in series, and 0–60 V at 6 A in parallel. The GPC-3060D provides 0–30 V at 0–6 A per main channel (independent), 0–60 V at 6 A in series, and 0–30 V at 12 A in parallel. Both keep the fixed 5 V / 3 A auxiliary output unchanged. The CV-mode load regulation specification distinguishes between channels operating below 10 A (≤0.01% + 5 mV) and at or above 10 A (≤0.02% + 5 mV), which is most directly relevant to the GPC-3060D's 12 A parallel configuration.
The comparison table that follows summarizes the independent, series, and parallel envelopes for each model side by side, along with shared specifications such as ripple and noise, tracking error, metering, and physical dimensions. Selection between the two models comes down to matching the model's output envelope — in whichever mode the application uses — to the voltage and current required by the DUT, including any startup inrush above steady-state draw.
