The Keysight E36100 Series is a family of single-output programmable DC bench power supplies engineered to power designs safely and quietly during manual tests or automated sequences. The series comprises five models that deliver controlled DC output up to 5 A or up to 100 V, each housed in a compact 2U quarter-rack form factor with a high-contrast OLED display that remains readable from sharp viewing angles across the bench.
The E36100 Series supports both manual bench work and automated test sequences. An easy-to-use rotary knob and keypad provide digit-by-digit output setting at the desired resolution, while standard programming interfaces allow the supply to be driven as part of an automated measurement system. A highly accurate low-current measurement feature is provided for demanding measurements, and the output on/off key and output enable/disable switch let an operator protect the connected device under test quickly.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is supported by our in-house team: pre-owned units are inspected and functionally verified by our technicians before they ship, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.
Keysight Technologies traces its test-and-measurement heritage to Hewlett-Packard, whose instrument business was spun out as Agilent Technologies in 1999. Agilent's electronic measurement division was then established as Keysight Technologies in 2014.
The E36100 Series is Keysight's family of single-output programmable DC bench power supplies, offered as five models that share a common 2U quarter-rack chassis, OLED display, front-panel interface, and standard LAN and USB connectivity. What distinguishes the models from one another is the DC output rating each delivers.
Across the series, the five models span a range of voltage and current combinations, letting a buyer select the model whose maximum voltage and current best fit the device under test while keeping the same programming experience, protection features, and form factor across the bench.
Each model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the model that matches your required output rating, then choose the pre-owned listing that fits your budget and documentation needs.
The five models differ primarily in their maximum DC output rating: the E36102A provides 6 V at 5 A (30 W), the E36103A 20 V at 2 A (40 W), the E36104A 35 V at 1 A (35 W), the E36105A 60 V at 0.6 A (36 W), and the E36106A 100 V at 0.4 A (40 W). As the maximum voltage rises across the series, the maximum current decreases.
Because each model targets a different voltage and current envelope, the load and line regulation, ripple and noise, programming and readback accuracy offsets, and resolution values also scale per model. Refer to the comparison table below for the per-model output ratings and specifications to confirm the correct model for your application.
| Model | Max Voltage | Max Current | Max Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| E36106A | 100 V | 0.4 A | 40 W |
| E36102A | 6 V | 5 A | 30 W |
| E36103A | 20 V | 2 A | 40 W |
| E36104A | 35 V | 1 A | 35 W |
