The Keysight E36100B Series is a family of programmable single-output DC bench power supplies, the latest addition to Keysight's family of bench power supplies. It is engineered to power designs safely and quietly during manual tests or automated sequences, with five models offering up to 5 A or up to 100 V so a user can choose the model best suited to the application. Compact size, an OLED display, and standard remote I/O are emphasized across the line.

A DC power supply delivers controlled, regulated DC power to a device under test, providing the known voltage and current a circuit needs to operate while it is being characterized or debugged. The E36100B Series is intended for both bench-side manual work and computer-controlled automated test sequences, and includes a highly accurate low-current measurement feature for demanding low-current measurements on a connected DUT.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Keeping equipment on hand lets us match the right instrument and condition to a specific application and get it out the door quickly.

Brand Heritage

Keysight Technologies traces its roots to Hewlett-Packard, whose test and measurement business was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999. In 2014, Agilent's electronic measurement division was established as Keysight Technologies, the company that produces this instrument today.

Compare Other Models in This Series

The E36100B Series comprises five single-output programmable DC bench power supplies that share a common 2U quarter-rack platform, OLED display, front-panel knob-and-keypad interface, and standard LAN (LXI Core) and USB connectivity. The models differ primarily in their maximum voltage and current ratings, letting a user select the output envelope that fits the device under test rather than over-buying capability.

Every model in the series carries the same programming and readback accuracy class and the same protection set — overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature — so the choice between models comes down to the voltage and current required at the output, not to feature tiers.

Each model below links to its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the specific model your application requires, then choose the new listing that fits your budget and lead-time needs.

The five models span a range of output envelopes: the E36102B is rated 6 V / 5 A (30 W), the E36103B 20 V / 2 A (40 W), the E36104B 35 V / 1 A (35 W), the E36105B 60 V / 0.6 A (36 W), and the E36106B 100 V / 0.4 A (40 W). As maximum voltage increases across the line, maximum current decreases, so higher-voltage models trade current capacity for voltage reach.

Because the models differ in output rating, their per-model regulation, ripple, accuracy offset, and resolution figures also scale with the rating. Refer to the comparison table that follows for the exact voltage, current, and power values of each model so you can match the supply to your DUT's requirements.

Model Max Voltage Max Current Max Power
E36105B 60 V 0.6 A 36 W
E36102B 6 V 5 A 30 W
E36103B 20 V 2 A 40 W
E36104B 35 V 1 A 35 W

Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.
