The Agilent E1412A is a 6.5-digit high-accuracy multimeter built as a 1-slot, C-size, message-based VXI module. It is identical in electrical design to the E1312A, differing only in size, and is described as delivering the widest functionality in Agilent's DMM line. It pairs that breadth with high performance at prices comparable to a 5.5-digit DMM.
A digital multimeter measures fundamental electrical quantities so an engineer can characterize a circuit or device under test. The E1412A's standard measurement set spans ac/dc voltage, ac/dc current, 2- and 4-wire resistance, and frequency/period, with advanced tests including limit checks that drive a TTL output and dc voltage ratios. As a VXI module with GPIB readout, it is suited to automated and rack-based measurement systems.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own test-and-measurement inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer. Holding inventory directly lets our team match the right instrument and condition to each application.
Agilent Technologies was spun off from Hewlett-Packard in 1999. Agilent's electronic test and measurement business was subsequently established as Keysight Technologies in 2014.
