The InfiniiVision 1000 X-Series is a family of value-priced oscilloscopes offered in 2-channel and 4-channel configurations spanning 50 MHz to 200 MHz of bandwidth. The series is engineered around Keysight's custom MegaZoom IV ASIC and draws on more than 60 years of oscilloscope expertise, dating to Keysight's first oscillator in 1939. The line covers the education-focused EDUX1052A and EDUX1052G models alongside the DSOX1202A/G 2-channel and DSOX1204A/G 4-channel models, delivering professional-quality measurement and analysis at an accessible price point.
The 1000 X-Series is positioned for educational and design labs where bench space and budget are at a premium. In the classroom, built-in training signals, a comprehensive lab guide, an undergraduate tutorial, and an oscilloscope-fundamentals slide set let students learn on the same hardware and software used in R&D labs, and the series can be paired with U3800A IoT Systems Design Applied Courseware. The integrated frequency response analyzer (Bode plot) on G models characterizes amplifiers, passive RLC networks, and power-supply feedback networks, while hardware-based serial protocol decode supports analysis of common embedded communication buses.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer. Holding inventory directly means our specialists can speak to what is on the shelf and match the right configuration to an engineer's application.
The oscilloscope heritage referenced here traces to Hewlett-Packard, founded in 1939. Hewlett-Packard's test-and-measurement business was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999, and that measurement business became Keysight Technologies in 2014.
The InfiniiVision 1000 X-Series spans six models built on shared Keysight-custom technology, so a student or engineer learns and works on the same hardware and software architecture regardless of tier. The EDUX1052A and EDUX1052G are 50 MHz, 2-channel models aimed at education, while the DSOX1202A/G (2-channel) and DSOX1204A/G (4-channel) carry 70 MHz base bandwidth that is selectable up to 100 MHz or 200 MHz.
Across the family, core capabilities such as built-in training signals, the integrated digital voltmeter, the frequency counter, mask/limit testing, waveform math with FFT, and a 7-inch WVGA display are standard. Models with the 'G' suffix add the integrated 20 MHz WaveGen function generator and the frequency response analyzer for Bode plots.
Each pre-owned model linked below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the specific model and bandwidth configuration that fits your application, and review that page for the exact specifications and availability.
The clearest division is between the EDUX and DSOX models. EDUX1052A/G run at a fixed 50 MHz with 2 channels, 1 GSa/s, 200 k points of memory, a 100,000 waveforms/sec update rate, and serial decode for I2C and UART/RS-232. DSOX models start at 70 MHz base bandwidth (upgradeable to 100 MHz or 200 MHz), reach 2 GSa/s and up to 2 Mpts of memory, deliver a 200,000 waveforms/sec update rate, and add SPI, CAN, and LIN serial decode plus segmented memory.
Within the DSOX models, the 1202 series provides 2 analog channels and the 1204 series provides 4. The 'A' versus 'G' suffix indicates whether the integrated WaveGen function generator and the standard Bode plot frequency response analyzer are included. Consult the comparison table that follows for the exact per-model bandwidth options, channel counts, sample rates, memory depths, and protocol support.
| Model | Bandwidth | Analog Channels | Max Sample Rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| DSOX1204A | 70/100/200 MHz | 4 | 2 GSa/s (2-ch), 1 GSa/s (4-ch) |
| EDUX1052A | 50 MHz | 2 | 1 GSa/s |
| EDUX1052G | 50 MHz | 2 | 1 GSa/s |
| DSOX1202A | 70/100/200 MHz | 2 | 2 GSa/s |
