The Keysight Infiniium 9000 H-Series is a family of high-definition oscilloscopes offering bandwidths up to 2 GHz. Each model pairs a large 15-inch XGA LCD touchscreen with up to 12 bits of vertical resolution — 4096 quantization levels for precision signal viewing. The series combines hypersampling with linear noise reduction technology to achieve a noise level up to three times lower than traditional 8-bit oscilloscopes, and is engineered to deliver low-noise, high-dynamic-range measurement. Each unit comes in a whisper-quiet package just 9 inches (23 cm) deep, weighing 26 pounds (11.8 kg).
A high-definition oscilloscope captures voltage waveforms over time and displays them on screen, letting an engineer see a signal's amplitude, frequency, timing, and shape. The 9000 H-Series is built to adapt to a wide variety of debug and test challenges: it supports comprehensive automated measurements, mask tests, histograms, and a full range of advanced triggers to isolate and capture the conditions an engineer needs to characterize. Optional application software extends it to serial bus testing, compliance validation, jitter analysis, and power measurements, while ultrasensitive current probes target the low-level current measurements typical of battery-powered and mobile designs.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house by our technicians before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer. That combination of held stock and hands-on verification means engineers get the right instrument, in known condition, ready to deploy.
Keysight Technologies traces its roots to Hewlett-Packard, whose test-and-measurement business was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999. That measurement business was subsequently established as Keysight Technologies in 2014.
The Infiniium 9000 H-Series is Keysight's first high-definition oscilloscope, built on the established 9000 Series frame. The family comprises four four-channel models — the DSO9024H, DSO9054H, DSO9104H, and DSO9204H — that share a common architecture: a 15-inch XGA touchscreen, 100 Mpts of standard 2-channel memory, Windows 7 operation, and MSO upgradability. What distinguishes the H-Series is its noise-reduction hardware — hypersampled ADCs and Linear Noise Reduction — technology not found natively in other Infiniium scopes.
Across the four models, the primary differences are bandwidth and the specifications that scale with it. The models span 250 MHz to 2 GHz of analog bandwidth, with maximum real-time sample rates from 1.25 GSa/s to 10 GSa/s. All four deliver 12 bits of resolution at lower bandwidths, while the 1 GHz and 2 GHz models operate at 10 bits above 500 MHz. The comparison table below details these per-model figures.
Each model below links to its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Selecting a pre-owned DSO9024H, DSO9054H, DSO9104H, or DSO9204H takes you to that specific model's page, where you can review its individual specifications and order the configuration you need.
The four H-Series models are differentiated chiefly by bandwidth tier: 250 MHz (DSO9024H), 500 MHz (DSO9054H), 1 GHz (DSO9104H), and 2 GHz (DSO9204H), with maximum sample rates of 1.25, 2.5, 5, and 10 GSa/s respectively. Resolution is 12 bits at or below 500 MHz across the family; the 1 GHz and 2 GHz models drop to 10 bits at their top bandwidths. Noise at 100 mV/div also rises with bandwidth, from 700 uV on the 250 MHz model to 1.5 mV on the 2 GHz model.
Optional application support also varies by model. High-speed USB protocol is supported on the scope channels of the 1 GHz and 2 GHz models, USB 2.0 compliance testing is supported on 2 GHz models, and Ethernet compliance testing is supported on 500 MHz and higher-bandwidth models. The comparison table that follows summarizes bandwidth, sample rate, memory, resolution, and noise for each model.
| Model | Bandwidth | Max Sample Rate | Noise (at 100 mV/div) |
|---|---|---|---|
| DSO9054H | 500 MHz | 2.5 GSa/s | 720 uV |
| DSO9024H | 250 MHz | 1.25 GSa/s | 700 uV |
| DSO9104H | 1 GHz | 5 GSa/s | 1.1 mV |
| DSO9204H | 2 GHz | 10 GSa/s | 1.5 mV |
Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.

Important: On the 2 GHz model, the full 2 GHz bandwidth is available in 2-channel mode; bandwidth is 1 GHz when all four channels are enabled.
Important: Maximum input voltage: 1 MΩ input is 150 V RMS or DC, CAT I (±250 V (DC + AC) in AC coupling); 50 Ω input is 5 Vrms. Digital channels (MSO): ±40 V peak CAT I.
Important: USB 2.0 compliance testing (N5416A/Option 029) is supported only on 2 GHz models.
Important: Ethernet compliance testing (N5392A/Option 021) is supported on all 500 MHz and higher bandwidth models and requires an N5395C test fixture and N5396A jitter test cable for compliance testing.
Important: High-speed USB protocol (N5464B) is supported on scope channels of 1 GHz and 2 GHz models only; low- and full-speed USB is supported on all models.
Important: User-defined function (N5430A/Option 010) requires MATLAB software, which is not included with UDF.
Important: Power measurement application (U1882A/Option 015): more accurate power-supply efficiency measurements require a U1880A de-skew fixture to de-skew voltage and current probes (ordered separately).
Important: Standard memory depth may vary by specific build date or configuration; check your instrument's 'About' menu for the installed depth on this unit.
Recommended pairing: use the N2820A/N2821A high-sensitivity current probes for low-level current measurements down to 50 uA on battery-powered and mobile designs, as described in the H-Series probing options.
