The Tektronix DPO77002SX is the flagship 70 GHz model of the DPO70000SX Series of scalable performance oscilloscopes, providing ultra-high-bandwidth real-time signal acquisition and analysis up to 70 GHz analog bandwidth. It uses the patented Asynchronous Time Interleaving (ATI) architecture to deliver low noise and high fidelity for real-time signal acquisition. The DPO77002SX provides one channel at 70 GHz, 200 GS/s acquisition or two channels at 33 GHz, 100 GS/s acquisition, and includes a 70 GHz, 1.85 mm low-noise ATI input channel along with general-purpose TekConnect 2.92 mm inputs for versatile probing and signal conditioning to 33 GHz, all housed in a compact 5.25-inch (3U) instrument package.
An oscilloscope captures voltage waveforms over time so an engineer can see a signal's amplitude, frequency, timing, and shape. Low-noise, high-fidelity acquisition is critical in the ultra-bandwidth applications this series addresses, including long-haul coherent optical, 400G datacom, and wideband RF. The DPO70000SX provides performance for complex optical modulation analysis, jitter and noise analysis of high-speed serial signaling, and frequency, phase, and modulation analysis of wideband RF signals. The series spans models from 23 GHz to 70 GHz, with the 50, 59, and 70 GHz models built on the patented ATI architecture and the 23 GHz and 33 GHz models offering four TekConnect inputs.
Because any model can operate standalone or be combined with others through UltraSync cabling, the series is designed for a scalable approach to performance: a user can purchase the bandwidth and channel count required today and add units later for higher channel count or greater bandwidth. Master-Extension configurations add input channels synchronized to the same precision as internal channels and controlled from a single interface.

The DPO77002SX is the 70 GHz ATI Performance Oscilloscope and the flagship of the series, providing one channel at 70 GHz, 200 GS/s or two channels at 33 GHz, 100 GS/s. It offers a unique value proposition for single-channel 70 GHz, 200 GS/s applications such as RF analysis or pulsed laser studies, where a user can start with one unit for 70 GHz channel performance plus two channels at 33 GHz and add units later via UltraSync for higher channel count.
The models differ by analog bandwidth and channel count. The DPO77002SX provides 70 GHz performance, the DPO75902SX provides 59 GHz, and the DPO75002SX provides 50 GHz, each combining a 200 GS/s ATI channel with TekConnect channels to 33 GHz. The DPO73304SX provides two channels at 33 GHz or four channels at 23 GHz, and the DPO72304SX provides four channels at 23 GHz, both using TekConnect channels at 100 GS/s. Recommended pairing: the P7700, P7600, and P7500 Series TriMode probes provide bandwidths matched to the DPO70000SX Series for differential, single-ended, and common-mode probing; DPO7OE Series optical probes are available for optical signal acquisition.
