The Tektronix DPO7000C Series is a family of four-channel Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes built to support engineers throughout the design cycle, from prototype turn-on to production testing. The series pairs signal acquisition performance with integrated analysis so a single instrument can capture and diagnose both analog and serial bus signals in complex designs, helping engineers find and resolve problems quickly.

A digital phosphor oscilloscope captures electrical signals as waveforms — voltage plotted against time — and uses color-graded intensity to show how often parts of a signal occur. This makes amplitude, frequency, timing, and signal shape visible at a glance, and highlights infrequent anomalies that a conventional display can miss.

ValueTronics stocks test and measurement equipment directly from our own 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.

Brand Heritage

Tektronix was founded in 1946 and operated as an independent company for decades. It was acquired by Danaher Corporation in 2007, and in 2016 it became part of Fortive Corporation, which was spun off from Danaher that year.

Compare Other Models in This Series

The DPO7000C Series comprises four 4-channel Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes — the DPO7054C, DPO7104C, DPO7254C, and DPO7354C — that share a common feature set and differ primarily in analog bandwidth and maximum real-time sample rate. All four models offer the same Pinpoint triggering, Advanced Search and Mark, 53 automated measurements, 12.1 in. touch-screen display, and 25 Mpoint standard record length.

Because the models share architecture, capabilities such as digital phosphor acquisition, FastAcq, FastFrame, the TekVPI probe interface, and Windows-based connectivity apply across the series, while the model number selects the bandwidth and sampling tier appropriate to the application.

Each pre-owned model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Choose the bandwidth and sample-rate tier that fits your application, and the corresponding page will show the specifications and pricing for that specific model.

The four models step through bandwidths of 500 MHz (DPO7054C), 1 GHz (DPO7104C), 2.5 GHz (DPO7254C), and 3.5 GHz (DPO7354C), with corresponding differences in typical rise time and maximum real-time sample rate — the DPO7054C and DPO7104C reach 20 GS/s on one channel, while the DPO7254C and DPO7354C reach 40 GS/s on one channel. The comparison table below details the bandwidth, rise time, sample rate, and noise figures for each model.

Some capabilities are tied to specific models: the optional 500 Mpoint record length (Opt. 10RL) and the 64-bit NRZ serial pattern trigger with clock recovery (Opt. ST1G) apply to the DPO7254C and DPO7354C, while Opt. 2SR — which doubles the maximum real-time sample rate to 40 GS/s — applies to the DPO7104C. Refer to the comparison table and options for the differences relevant to your selection.

Model Bandwidth Max Sample Rate (1 ch) Rise Time (10%-90%, Typical)
DPO7354C 3.5 GHz 40 GS/s 115 ps
DPO7054C 500 MHz 20 GS/s 460 ps
DPO7104C 1 GHz 20 GS/s 300 ps
DPO7254C 2.5 GHz 40 GS/s 160 ps

Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.
