The Keithley DMM7510 is a 7½-digit graphical sampling multimeter that combines a precision digital multimeter, a five-inch capacitive touchscreen display, and a high-speed, high-resolution digitizer in a single instrument. Keithley describes the result as an industry first — a graphical sampling multimeter — in which the built-in digitizer adds signal-analysis flexibility and the touchscreen lets a user observe, interact with, and explore measurements with pinch-and-zoom simplicity.

The instrument is aimed at characterizing today's demanding electronic designs, where low-level measurement matters. Its 100 mV, 1 Ω, and 10 µA ranges deliver the sensitivity needed to measure low signals with confidence, and its voltage and current digitizing functions capture and display waveforms or transient events without the need for a separate instrument.

Brand Heritage

Keithley Instruments, founded in 1946, was acquired by Danaher Corporation in 2010 and now operates as part of Tektronix. The 'A Tektronix Company' branding on this product reflects that corporate relationship.

Compare Other Models in This Series

The DMM7510 7½-Digit Graphical Sampling Multimeter is offered in several ordering configurations that share identical measurement performance but differ in physical format. The standard DMM7510 ships as a benchtop instrument with a front panel and carry handle.

Rack- and panel-oriented variants are also available for system integration: a No-Front-Panel version, a rack version supplied without the handle, and a combined No-Front-Panel rack version. Every configuration provides the same 15 measurement functions, the same 1 MS/s 18-bit digitizer, and the same GPIB, USB, and LXI/LAN interfaces.

Each configuration linked below is its own product page with condition-matched pricing for the new unit you select. Confirm the front-panel and rack format that fits your bench or system before ordering.

The base DMM7510 configuration includes the five-inch capacitive touchscreen front panel and carry handle for benchtop use, with both front and rear safety banana-jack inputs.

The configurations differ only in mechanical format. The -NFP suffix denotes a unit supplied with no front panel for rack or embedded installation; the -RACK suffix denotes a unit supplied with no handle; and the -NFP-RACK combines both.

Because the variants share the same electrical specifications, selection comes down to how the instrument will be mounted. The comparison table that follows summarizes those configuration differences, and a separate DMM7510-BenchKit supplies ears and a handle for the rack and no-front-panel models.

Model Resolution Front Panel Handle
DMM7510 7½-Digit Yes Yes
DMM7510-NFP 7½-Digit No Yes
DMM7510-RACK 7½-Digit Yes No
DMM7510-NFP-RACK 7½-Digit No No

Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.

Important: Input protection is rated 1010 V DC (715 V RMS AC) on the HI and LO terminals; the 3 A and 10 A current ranges are fused, and 10 A specifications apply to the rear input terminals only.
Important: All specifications apply to front or rear terminal inputs, except the 10 A current range specifications, which apply to the rear input terminals only.
Important: Measurement accuracies are specified after a 90-minute warm-up period; warm-up is 90 minutes to rated accuracy.
Recommended pairing: link the DMM7510 over TSP-Link with Keithley Model 2450/2460 or Series 2600B SourceMeter SMU instruments and Series 3700A Switch/Multimeter systems to operate as one integrated master-slave system.
