When the two-channel B2962B is used, total maximum current across both channels is limited per the datasheet's current-limitation table for the 21 V / 1.515 A and 6 V / 3.03 A ranges; this limitation does not apply when only one channel is in use. Important: Activation of both safety interlock pins on the Digital I/O connector is required to enable output voltage greater than 42 V.
Recommended pairing: add an external low-noise filter — N1298A (21 V/500 mA), N1298B (42 V/105 mA), or N1298C (210 V/3 A) — to reduce output noise for noise-sensitive device and oscillator testing.
