The Fluke 718 Pressure Calibrator is a handheld pneumatic pressure calibrator that combines a built-in pump, pressure measurement, and milliamp measurement in a single instrument. The 718 family includes four models — the 718 1G, 718 30G, 718 100G, and 718 300G — covering pressure ranges from -1 PSI to +1 PSI through -12 PSI to 300 PSI. The 718 100G specifically measures from -12 PSI to 100 PSI (-850 mbar to 6.895 bar, -85 to 689.48 kPa) with 0.01 psi / 1 mbar resolution. Each unit ships in a compact form factor measuring 216 mm x 94 mm x 66 mm and weighing 992 g with holster.

The 718 100G is used to calibrate and maintain pressure transmitters, gauges, and switches. The built-in pump generates pressure for the device under test while the integrated milliamp measurement reads the transmitter loop output simultaneously, and the 24 V DC loop power output drives transmitters that require external excitation. The switch test function supports pressure switch testing, and the Error % calculation provides pass/fail decision support in the field. The instrument supports pressure units including psi, in H2O (4 °C and 20 °C), cm H2O (4 °C and 20 °C), bar, mbar, kPa, inHg, mmHg, and kg/cm.

ValueTronics has been a trusted source for test and measurement equipment since 1992, operating from a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive, Elgin, Illinois. Every pressure calibrator we sell is inspected and performance-verified in our facility before it ships — we do not drop-ship from third parties or list inventory we have not physically handled. For regulated calibration and maintenance work where instrument provenance matters, sourcing from a stocking specialist with in-house technical staff is materially different from buying through a pass-through broker.

Compare Other Models in This Series

The Fluke 718 Pressure Calibrator family covers four pressure ranges in a single instrument design: the 718 1G (-1 to +1 PSI), the 718 30G (-12 to 30 PSI), the 718 100G (-12 to 100 PSI), and the 718 300G (-12 to 300 PSI). Each model shares the same compact form factor, integrated pneumatic pump with field-serviceable check valves, 24 V DC loop power, and 0.015% + 1 count milliamp measurement accuracy.

Selection across the family is driven by the pressure range and resolution required for the device under test. The 1G model provides the finest resolution (0.0001 psi / 0.001 mbar) for low-pressure work; the 30G adds a wider range at 0.001 psi resolution; the 100G covers the bulk of industrial transmitter calibration at 0.01 psi resolution; and the 300G extends to 300 PSI at the same 0.01 psi resolution.

Each pre-owned model in the 718 family is listed on its own product page with condition-matched pricing and accessory inventory. Use the comparison table below to confirm the pressure range, resolution, and overpressure tolerance for the specific application, then select the model whose page reflects current availability.

The 718 100G is positioned in the middle of the 718 family pressure range — covering -12 PSI to 100 PSI (-850 mbar to 6.895 bar, -85 to 689.48 kPa) with 0.01 psi / 1 mbar resolution and 2× full-scale overpressure tolerance. This range covers a large portion of the industrial pressure transmitter and gauge calibration workload that falls between the low-pressure 1G and 30G models and the higher-range 300G.

The primary differences across the 718 family are pressure range, resolution, and overpressure tolerance. The 1G model resolves to 0.0001 psi with 5× full-scale overpressure protection; the 30G and 100G use 2× full-scale overpressure with 0.001 psi and 0.01 psi resolution respectively; and the 300G is rated for 375 PSI / 25 bar overpressure with 0.01 psi resolution.

Functions are identical across the family: Zero, Min, Max, Hold, and Damp, with the switch test, Error % calculation, simultaneous pressure and current display, and 24 V DC loop power available on every model. The comparison table below lists the specific pressure range, resolution, and overpressure rating for each model side by side.

Model Pressure Range Resolution Over Pressure
718 300G -12 PSI to 300 PSI (-850 mbar to 20.68 bar) 0.01 psi, 1 mbar 375 PSI / 25 bar
718 1G -1 PSI to +1 PSI (-68.9 mbar to 68.9 mbar) 0.0001 psi, 0.001 mbar 5x FS
718 30G -12 PSI to 30 PSI (-850 mbar to 2 bar) 0.001 psi, 0.1 mbar 2x FS
718 100G -12 PSI to 100 PSI (-850 mbar to 6.895 bar) 0.01 psi, 1 mbar 2x FS

Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.

Important: Designed for use with non-corrosive gases at the internal pneumatic pump. The pump's protective check valves inhibit fluid ingress, and the valve assemblies can be cleaned in the field per the documented procedure if accidental fluid exposure occurs.Important: For use with non-corrosive gasses.Important: Media compatibility per pressure module specs when used with 700 Series Pressure Modules.Important: The Fluke 717 series does not include a built-in pump; an external pressure source and/or optional 700 Series Pressure Modules are required for pressure measurement.Important: Warranty on the Fluke 718 pressure pump is one year (three years on the instrument).Usage tip: pair the 718 with a Fluke 700 Series Pressure Module when the application requires pressure ranges, resolution, or media compatibility beyond what the internal pneumatic pump and -12 PSI to 100 PSI measurement range provide — the 700 Series covers 29 modules from 1 in H2O to 10,000 psi.
