The Anritsu MT9083 Series ACCESS Master is a family of handheld optical time domain reflectometers designed for installing and maintaining FTTx, CATV, LAN, access, and metro optical networks. The MT9083 Series ACCESS Master is organized into three performance tiers that share a common physical platform, user interface, and accessory ecosystem. The three tiers differ primarily in dynamic range, distance range, and sampling resolution. The MT9083A series provides up to 38.5 dB dynamic range (1310 nm, 20 µs pulse, 180 s averaging) and up to 200 km single mode distance range. The MT9083B series provides up to 42 dB dynamic range with dual-mode High Resolution / Enhanced Range operation and Enhanced Mode optimized for 1×64 PON characterization, also at up to 200 km.
