The Anritsu MS2717A is an economy-class spectrum analyzer covering 100 kHz to 7.1 GHz. It delivers spectrum analysis with a standard built-in preamplifier, a 100 dB dynamic range, and WCDMA signal analysis capability, packaged in an ergonomically designed instrument intended to lower the cost of testing while retaining the performance engineers expect from the category.
A spectrum analyzer displays the amplitude of signals across a frequency range, letting an engineer characterize signal levels, harmonics, and modulation quality in the frequency domain. The MS2717A is positioned for spectrum analysis of wireless components in the physical layer of communication systems: its phase noise performance measures wireless local oscillators and synthesizers, its dynamic range supports linear measurements of wireless components, and its 8 MHz capture bandwidth supports optional WCDMA/HSDPA and WCDMA demodulator measurements for testing Node-B transmitters. It is designed for use in manufacturing, R&D, and general purpose testing.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house against the manufacturer's specifications before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received. That combination lets buyers source instruments like the MS2717A with confidence in both availability and verified condition.
