The kit pairs the 283 FC handheld multimeter with the a283 FC wireless AC/DC current clamp, TL175-HV TwistGuard silicone test leads, and a CAT III 1500 V Staubli MC4 test lead set, delivering a matched measurement system rated CAT III 1500 V / CAT IV 1000 V end-to-end.

The 283 FC/PV is built for utility-scale solar photovoltaic arrays, wind power installations, electric railway systems, and data center DC environments. It is the only SKU in the family that includes the CAT III 1500 V Staubli MC4 test lead set (PVLEAD1) for direct connection to PV module and string connectors, in addition to the 283 FC multimeter, the a283 FC wireless clamp, the TL175-HV TwistGuard silicone test leads, the TPAK magnetic hanging strap, and the premium hard carrying case.
