The Agilent E1852A Bluetooth Test Set is a low-cost, stand-alone solution designed to prove the performance of Bluetooth devices. It establishes a link using standard Bluetooth protocol and acts as a Bluetooth Master to create a PAGED connection per Bluetooth Specification 1.1. The instrument is qualified by the Bluetooth SIG as a Bluetooth development tool and is intended to maximize throughput in manufacturing environments through a PC-based user interface.
The test set supports both Test Mode operation, with or without frequency hopping, and Normal Mode operation for verifying Bluetooth device behavior. In Test Mode, the device under test can operate in Transmitter mode or Loopback mode. The instrument also includes a dedicated RF-Analyzer mode for transmitter measurements when no link is established, and an RF-Generator mode that produces burst or continuous signals on any channel with selectable power output and frequency offset.
ValueTronics International has supplied verified test and measurement equipment from our 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive, Elgin, Illinois since 1992. Every pre-owned instrument in our catalog is inspected and tested in-house by our technicians before it ships — not drop-shipped or passed through from an unverified source. That distinction matters when a customer needs a Bluetooth test set that performs to its published specifications on day one of integration into a production line or development bench.
Hewlett-Packard's test and measurement business was spun out as Agilent Technologies in 1999, and Agilent's electronic measurement division became Keysight Technologies in 2014. Instruments originally manufactured under the Agilent brand, such as the E1852A, trace their support and engineering lineage to Keysight today.
