Standard USB (USBTMC) and RS232 interfaces are present on all models, with GPIB available as an option on the non-suffix versions (model numbers without the "B" suffix).
The 8600/B Series occupies the value-performance position in the professional DC electronic load market — offering measurement specifications competitive with Chroma 63000 and Keysight N3300 systems, with full SCPI compatibility and NI-certified LabVIEW drivers. The 8614 is the 1500 W member of the 8600/B Series in a 3U chassis, delivering up to 120 V and up to 240 A of sink current. CC-mode accuracy is ±(0.05 + 0.1% FS), with a minimum operating voltage of 1.5 V at full-scale current. The 8600/B Series uses 16-bit measurement resolution and supports transient operation up to 25 kHz, list-mode programming with flexible triggering, automatic test mode, CR-LED mode for LED-driver loading simulation, and built-in battery discharge test with Ah capacity reporting. Analog current control and monitoring is supported in addition to the standard digital interfaces.
