A nonvolatile storage memory stores two complete instrument setups. Utilizes various ROM packs, RAM packs and COMM packs (sold separately) for tailoring software control and acquiring data and control of communication interfaces such as RS-232 and IEEE-488.

The Tektronix 1240, Logic Analyzer, offers up to 36 channels of hardware analysis and 72 channels of software analysis with acquisition speed to 50 MHz synchronous and 100 MHz asynchronous.  With 14 levels of triggering and a dual hardware/software time base, integration is expedited.
