The Agilent E4433A is a digital RF signal generator from the ESG-D series, delivering a calibrated, controllable RF carrier from 250 kHz to 4000 MHz. Also designated the ESG-D4000A, it pairs a synthesized frequency source with both analog and digitally modulated output in a single instrument, setting frequency to 0.01 Hz resolution and adjusting output amplitude in 0.02 dB steps.

A signal generator supplies the known, controllable stimulus that a device under test responds to. The E4433A produces standard analog modulation — frequency, phase, amplitude, and pulse — and, when fitted with the optional I/Q baseband generator (Option UN3 or UN4), generates digitally modulated signals for the DECT, GSM (including DCS1800/PCS1900), NADC, PDC, PHS, and TETRA standards. External I and Q inputs also allow the instrument to be driven by externally supplied baseband signals.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000-square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Pre-owned instruments are inspected and functionally verified in-house by our technicians before they ship, while new units leave the warehouse factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer — we never open or test a new unit. Buying directly from our held stock means the instrument you order is the instrument we ship.

Brand Heritage

Hewlett-Packard's test and measurement operation was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999, and in 2014 that electronic measurement business was established as Keysight Technologies. Instruments originally branded under these names share a continuous engineering lineage across the corporate transitions.
