The Stanford Research Systems DS340 is a 15 MHz function and arbitrary waveform generator based on Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS). It produces sine and square waves at frequencies up to 15.1 MHz, ramps and triangles up to 100 kHz, and includes a 10 MHz Gaussian white-noise generator. Frequency resolution is 1 µHz for every function, and the combination of features, performance, and low cost suits the DS340 to a variety of test and measurement applications.

A function and arbitrary waveform generator supplies the known, controllable stimulus signals that bench and automated measurements depend on. Beyond its standard waveform set, the DS340 offers phase-continuous frequency sweeps for characterizing response over a band, FSK modulation for toggling between two preset frequencies, and downloadable arbitrary waveforms for reproducing custom signal shapes.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000-square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.
