The National Instruments PXI-8421/8 serial interface module for PXI/CompactPCI is an asynchronous serial interface for communicating with RS-485 and RS-232 serial devices. Interfaces for PXI are available with up to 16 ports and offer 2,000 V of optical isolation (optional for 2 and 4-port versions only).
