The Fluke 80K-15 Electronic Air Cleaner Test Probe is a high-voltage measurement accessory that extends the voltage measurement capability of most digital multimeters up to 15 kV. It is designed for use in low-energy environments such as measuring the output voltage in electronic air cleaners.
A high-voltage probe like the 80K-15 allows technicians to safely interface a standard handheld or bench digital multimeter with voltages well beyond the meter's own input range. The probe scales the measured voltage down through an internal divider, presenting a manageable signal to the meter while keeping the operator isolated from the high-voltage source.
Fluke Corporation was founded by John Fluke Sr. in 1948 and has been a US-based test and measurement manufacturer ever since, headquartered in Everett, Washington. Fluke became part of Danaher Corporation in 1998, and its test and measurement operations have remained under the Fluke brand throughout that ownership.
