The FLIR TG297 is a high-temperature spot thermal camera that combines accurate non-contact temperature measurement with a 160 × 120 pixel true thermal imager, enabling users to image targets up to 1030°C (1886°F). FLIR MSX (Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging) enhancement embosses visual scene details onto full thermal images to improve image clarity, while a multipoint laser pointer projects a circle that clearly identifies the area being measured. The TG297 sees beyond the limitations of single-spot IR thermometers, giving engineers and maintenance technicians a true thermal view of hot processes that single-point pyrometers cannot provide.

The TG297 is designed for high-temperature industrial applications, including measuring the heat of glass furnaces, kilns, and forges, as well as manufacturing processes.
