Fluke Calibration 752A Reference Divider (Pre-Owned)

Key Features At A Glance

  • 10:1 and 100:1 divider outputs with ratio uncertainties of 0.2 ppm and 0.5 ppm respectively
  • Built-in calibration bridge enables full self-calibration in approximately five minutes using only a stable source and null detector — no external standards required
  • Dynamic Resistor Matching compensates for long-term changes in divider resistor values
  • Integrated MODE switch reconfigures the system for 0.1 V, 1 V, 10 V, 100 V, and 1000 V comparisons against a 10 V reference without manual lead changes
  • Temperature coefficient of ratio < ±1 ppm/°C across the full operating range; typical 0.1 ppm/°C from 15 °C to 30 °C
  • Maximum input voltage of 1100 V on the 100:1 range and 200 V on the 10:1 range
  • Compliant with ANSI C39.5 (1980) and IEC 348 2nd edition (1978)

The Fluke 752A Reference Divider is a precision ratio standard offering two divider outputs — 10:1 and 100:1 — with output uncertainties of 0.2 ppm and 0.5 ppm respectively. It sets a reference standard for ratio accuracy and ease of use in the calibration laboratory, providing a stable, self-calibrating means of dividing a known voltage with traceable confidence.

The 752A is used as a stand-alone divider, where an input applied to the INPUT terminals is switched by the MODE switch to either the 10:1 or 100:1 position with output available at the OUTPUT terminals. When augmented with a 10 V reference source such as the Fluke 732B and a null detector, the resulting system becomes a 5-decade cardinal point voltage calibrator with facilities for comparing input voltages of 1000 V, 100 V, 10 V, 1 V, and 0.1 V to the 10 V reference. The MODE switch reconfigures the system for each of these ranges with no manual lead changes necessary.

Brand Heritage

Fluke Calibration is the precision metrology division of Fluke Corporation, which has operated as part of Fortive Corporation since Fortive's 2016 spin-off from Danaher Corporation. The 752A Reference Divider is documented and supported under the Fluke Calibration brand.

Important: Maximum input voltage at the 10:1 ratio is 200 V (safety rating only); the maximum voltage for best accuracy at the 10:1 ratio is 100 V. Maximum input voltage at the 100:1 ratio is 1100 V.Important: Before each use, the 752A is calibrated with only a stable source and a null detector; the procedure takes approximately five minutes and does not require external standards.Important: Specifications apply for the lifetime of the instrument over the temperature range of 18 °C to 28 °C, for a temperature variation of less than ± 1 °C from the calibration temperature for up to eight hours following calibration.Important: For the 10:1 ratio, the 200 V maximum input rating applies to the safety of the unit only. The maximum input voltage for best accuracy is 100 V.Important: Do not apply voltage to OUTPUT terminals (per front-panel warning).Important: When used as a 5-decade cardinal point voltage calibrator, the 752A must be augmented with a 10 V reference source (such as the Fluke Calibration 732B) and a null detector; these are not supplied with the 752A.Important: The M07-200-603 Full Width Rack Mount Kit requires the 752A to be bolted to an adjacent half-rack-width instrument using four M00-800-523 Dual Mounting Fasteners (included with the kit).Recommended pairing: when used as a 5-decade cardinal point voltage calibrator, the 752A is augmented with a 10 V reference source such as the Fluke 732B and a null detector. The 5440A-7002 Low Thermal EMF Cable Assembly is specifically suited for interconnecting a 752A, a 732B, and a null detector.
