The Keysight E36300 Series is a triple-output bench power supply line built to deliver the performance of system power supplies at a bench-affordable price. The series comprises three models: the E36311A, an 80 W economy model with a simplified user experience; the E36312A, an 80 W full-featured model; and the E36313A, a 160 W high-current model that offers twice the current of the other models with the same extended feature set as the E36312A. Across the line, the focus is clean, reliable power with accurate voltage and current measurement so engineers can test with confidence.
On the bench, the E36300 Series supports a range of stated tasks: powering multiple analog or digital circuits or devices from one instrument, supplying clean power for precision circuitry applications, and protecting a device under test during limit testing through OVP, OCP, and OTP. The E36312A and E36313A extend into design characterization workflows—emulating the behavior of power subsystems early in the design process, controlling multiple voltage sequences, measuring wide dynamic ranges of current, and varying voltage speed to reflect real circuit characteristics. A power supply of this type provides controlled, adjustable DC power to a device under test, forming the energy source around which a bench or system test setup is built.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own test-and-measurement inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois.
Keysight Technologies traces its test-and-measurement roots to Hewlett-Packard, whose instrument business was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999. In 2014, Agilent's electronic measurement business was established as the independent company Keysight Technologies, the brand under which this product line is issued.
The E36300 Series is offered in three models that share a common triple-output architecture but differ in feature set and output power. The chart that follows compares them as the series defines them: the E36311A 80 W Economy Model, the E36312A 80 W Full-Featured Model, and the E36313A 160 W High Current Model.
All three put three power supplies in one box with a 4.3-inch color display, color-coded channels, OVP/OCP/OTP protection, and 0.01% line and load regulation. The choice between them comes down to channel independence, interface options, sensing, advanced characterization features, and how much current the application needs.
Each model below links to its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing for the new configuration you select. Choose the model that fits your application, then pick the condition and options that match your budget and documentation needs.
The E36311A is the economy model: Channels 2 and 3 operate in tracking mode only, it provides a USB interface only and 2-wire sensing, and it does not offer data logging, output sequencing, LIST mode, digital triggers, rear output terminals, a digital I/O port, or auto series/parallel. The E36312A is the full-featured model—its Channels 2 and 3 are electrically isolated independent channels, and it adds USB and LAN standard (GPIB optional), 2- or 4-wire sensing, data logging, output sequencing, LIST mode, digital triggers, rear output terminals, and auto series/parallel.
The E36313A carries the same extended feature set as the E36312A but is a 160 W model that supplies twice the current of the other two—10 A on the 6 V output and 2 A on each 25 V output, versus 5 A and 1 A. See the comparison table for the per-model feature and output details, including which capabilities are standard on each model.
| Model | Total Power | Ch 1 Output | Ch 2 & 3 Output |
|---|---|---|---|
| E36313A | 160 W | 6 V, 10 A | 2 x 25 V, 2 A |
| E36311A | 80 W | 6 V, 5 A | ±25 V, 1 A |
| E36312A | 80 W | 6 V, 5 A | 2 x 25 V, 1 A |
