The Keysight E3620A and E3630A are non-programmable, multiple-output linear DC power supplies built for the bench. They deliver the performance of system power supplies at a modest price, providing clean power with excellent regulation and fast transient response. By packing multiple supplies into one compact unit, they conserve bench space while supplying well-regulated DC to the circuits under test.

These benchtop supplies are intended to satisfy most bench requirements, supplying clean, well-regulated DC for precision circuitry. The E3630A's auto-tracking feature makes it straightforward to adjust the supply for circuits requiring balanced voltages, letting a single control set the +20 V and –20 V outputs together. Both models protect the device under test against overload and short-circuit damage. A DC power supply provides controlled, adjustable voltage and current to power and characterize electronic circuits during design and test.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois.

Brand Heritage

Keysight Technologies traces its roots to Hewlett-Packard, founded in 1939. Hewlett-Packard's test and measurement business was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999, and that measurement business was established as Keysight Technologies in 2014.

Compare Other Models in This Series

The E3620A and E3630A are the multiple-output, non-programmable members of the E3600 Series, delivering the performance of system power supplies in a low-cost benchtop form. Both pack multiple isolated outputs into a single compact unit and share the same core regulation, noise, and protection characteristics.

The two models differ primarily in how many outputs they provide and how those outputs are configured — a dual-output design versus a triple-output design with an auto-tracking feature for balanced supply rails.

Each model below links to its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing for the new unit you select. Review the comparison table to confirm the output configuration that fits your bench before choosing a model.

The 50-watt E3620A offers two completely independent and isolated 0 V to 25 Vdc outputs, each rated to a maximum of 1 A, with 10-turn CV/CL control on each output. It is the model that supports the side-by-side rackmount kits and the 1CM/34190A rackmount option.

The 35-watt E3630A offers three outputs — a 0 to 6 V output rated up to 2.5 A and 0 to +20 V and 0 to –20 V outputs each rated 0.5 A — and adds an auto-tracking feature that adjusts the +20 V and –20 V outputs together, tracking to within 1 percent. See the comparison table for the per-model output ratings, meter resolution, and dimensions.

Model Outputs Output Power DC Output Rating
E3630A 3 35 W +6 V, 2.5 A; ±20 V, 0.5 A
E3620A 2 50 W 25 V, 1 A (×2)

Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.
