The Keysight InfiniiVision 3000A X-Series is a family of bench oscilloscopes built around MegaZoom IV smart memory technology. Positioned as oscilloscopes redefined, the series integrates an oscilloscope, digital channels, a built-in 20 MHz function/arbitrary waveform generator, an integrated digital voltmeter, a frequency counter, and a protocol analyzer into a single instrument — the industry's first 6-instruments-in-1 integration. Every model carries an 8.5-inch WVGA display and is fully upgradable, including bandwidth.

Applications span embedded design with I2C, SPI, UART, and I2S serial buses; automotive and industrial work with CAN, LIN, and FlexRay; and aerospace and defense work with MIL-STD 1553 and ARINC 429. Segmented memory acquisition suits packetized serial buses, pulsed laser, radar bursts, and high-energy physics experiments. With the power measurement application, the series addresses switching power supply and power device characterization, while enhanced video triggering supports HDTV debug. A standard Educator's Oscilloscope Training Kit also targets undergraduate electrical engineering and physics instruction.

Brand Heritage

Bandwidth tiers run 100, 200, 350, and 500 MHz and 1 GHz, with each tier offered in 2- or 4-channel form and an additional +16 digital-channel MSO variant. Sample rate and memory also scale with the tier: 500 MHz and lower models reach 4 GSa/s half-channel, while 1 GHz models reach 5 GSa/s half-channel.
