The FLIR A320 is a fixed-mount thermal imaging camera designed for non-contact temperature measurement applications, including the scanning of elevated body temperatures. Built around an uncooled microbolometer focal plane array detector with 320 x 240 pixel resolution, the camera operates in the 7.5 to 13 µm spectral range and delivers temperature accuracy of ±2°C or 2% of reading across its -20°C to 120°C measurement range.
Per the datasheet, the A320 is intended for use as an adjunct to other clinical diagnostic procedures in the diagnosis, quantifying, and screening of differences of skin surface temperature changes. It can visualize and document temperature patterns and changes. Listed environments of use include hospitals, sub-acute facilities, and public areas such as airports. The camera is designated by the FDA under Section 510(k) as a telethermographic camera for these indications.
ValueTronics International has supported test, measurement, and imaging instrument buyers since 1992, with stock and operations managed from our 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every instrument is handled, inspected, and shipped from our own facility — not drop-shipped from a third party — which is how we maintain accountability for what we sell. For specialized imaging products like the FLIR A320, that direct chain of custody matters: it means the unit you receive is the unit our team verified, with documentation and support continuity that pass-through brokers cannot offer.
FLIR Systems was founded in 1978 and built the company that defined the commercial uncooled microbolometer thermal imaging market. In 2021, FLIR was acquired by Teledyne Technologies and operates today as Teledyne FLIR. The FLIR brand name has been retained because its recognition in thermal imaging is fundamental to the market.
