The EM Test EFT200 is a Burst Generator. By means of the EM TEST generators (UCS500M, EFT500/EFT800 or EFT200) the EUT is subjected to the disturbance signal either on its power supply ports or the I/O ports. The test signal is continuously increased with a ramp function. The test signal is also transmitted to the input of the EMC sensor. If the test signal is increased that much that it exceeds the susceptibility level of the EMC sensor an optical signal is transmitted via the optical link to the optical receiver. The receiver is connected to the Fail inputs of the test generator (UCS500M, EFT500/EFT800 or EFT200) and controls the test procedure accordingly.
