The Advantest R3762AH is a quasi-microwave vector network analyzer covering 300 kHz to 3.6 GHz that quickly and accurately measures amplitude, phase, group delay, and impedance. The R3762AH provides three input terminals (Rch, Ach, Bch) and dual-channel display capability, supporting A/R, B/R, and A/B measurement formats with orthogonal, Smith chart, and polar coordinate display options.
A vector network analyzer is used by RF engineers to characterize how signals transmit through and reflect off RF components and networks. The R3762AH is suited for testing mobile radio communications components, with applications including measuring amplitude ripple and group delay ripple values in a given interval, and measuring filter bandwidths and Q=Δf/fo at an XdB-down point. These analytical functions are designed to improve measurement throughput.
ValueTronics is a specialist source for new and used test and measurement equipment, stocking instruments at our 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive, Elgin, Illinois. Equipment shipped from our facility is inspected and performance-tested in-house by our technicians before delivery, and we maintain calibration documentation pathways for customers whose quality systems require NIST-traceable or ISO 17025 records.
Advantest Corporation is a Japanese test and measurement manufacturer that has operated under the Advantest name since 1985, when the company adopted its current branding from its prior name Takeda Riken. Advantest's instrument lines, including the R3762 vector network analyzer family, continue to be supported in the used market.
The R3762 series consists of two quasi-microwave vector network analyzer models—the R3762AH and R3762BH—both covering 300 kHz to 3.6 GHz with 1 Hz frequency resolution and sharing the same 0.5 ms per point sweep speed. Both models measure amplitude, phase, group delay, and impedance using Advantest's analog and digital signal processing architecture.
The two models in the R3762 family differ primarily in channel configuration, measurement format support, and signal source output capability. They share identical input impedance (50 Ω), the same amplitude and phase measurement ranges, identical error compensation features, and the same external equipment connectivity (GPIB, parallel I/O, RS-232C).
Each pre-owned R3762 series unit listed below is its own product page with condition-matched pricing and a dedicated specification table. Use the comparison below to identify the specific model that matches your channel count and signal source output requirements, then select that model's page for full details.
The R3762AH provides two display channels and supports A/R, B/R, and A/B measurement formats with three input terminals (Rch, Ach, Bch). Its signal source output level ranges from 20 dBm to -5 dBm with 0.01 dB resolution, in single output format.
The R3762AH supports two display channels and three input terminals (Rch, Ach, Bch), enabling A/R, B/R, and A/B ratio measurements. The R3762BH supports two input terminals (Rch, Ach) with A/R format only. Both models offer two display channels.
Signal source output also differs between the two models. The R3762AH outputs 20 dBm to -5 dBm with 0.01 dB resolution in single output format, while the R3762BH outputs 13 dBm to -10 dBm with 0.01 dB resolution in dual output format. Review the per-model specification tables below to confirm which output configuration matches your application.
