The B&K Precision DAS240-BAT is a portable multi-channel recorder designed to measure parameters commonly found in process applications, including voltage, temperature, current, resistance, frequency, and pulse signals. Developed by B&K Precision's French subsidiary Sefram, the unit ships standard with 20 universal analog input channels on convenient screw input terminal blocks, and the channel count can be expanded up to 200 channels by stacking and daisy-chaining additional 20-channel modules.

According to the printed application list, the DAS240-BAT addresses temperature monitoring with thermocouples and platinum resistance temperature sensors, voltage measurements down to the ±0.5 mV range, 4-20 mA current loop measurements (using the optional 50 Ω shunt terminal block), and frequency, pulse totalization, and pulse rotation measurements that can be expressed in RPM. The combination of universal analog channels, logic I/O, and timing inputs makes the instrument suitable for mixed-signal data logging on a single platform.
