The Anritsu S332B Site Master is a handheld transmission line and antenna analyzer with integrated spectrum analysis capability, designed for field installation, deployment, and periodic maintenance of cellular, PCS/DCS, paging, WLAN/WPBX, and other wireless communication systems. The S332B covers 25 MHz to 3300 MHz for cable and antenna measurements and adds spectrum analysis from 100 kHz to 3.0 GHz, combining two field measurement functions in a single battery-operated instrument.

Site Master is used widely in installation, deployment, and periodic maintenance of cellular communication sites. Field engineers and technicians use it to identify, record, and solve problems including coverage, interference, antenna alignment, in-band interference from unwanted sources, and other path-related signal problems. The S114B and S332B models specifically address site surveys, signal mapping, and antenna placement optimization in WLAN and WPBX network installations.

Brand Heritage

Anritsu acquired Wiltron Company in 1990, consolidating Wiltron's RF and microwave measurement expertise into the Anritsu organization. Site Master and many of Anritsu's other handheld RF instruments draw on the engineering heritage of both companies.

Compare Other Models in This Series

The Site Master family is a line of handheld cable, antenna, and spectrum analyzers from Anritsu covering frequencies from 5 MHz to 20 GHz across multiple models. All models share Anritsu's Frequency Domain Reflectometry approach, built-in Distance-To-Fault analysis, battery operation for field use, and the menu-driven interface that simplifies site-to-site deployment and maintenance.

Within the family, models differ by frequency coverage, addition of spectrum analysis capability, addition of a second test port for transmission measurements (gain and insertion loss), and extension into microwave frequencies with waveguide and vector error correction support. The A and B series suffixes generally indicate generational updates, with B series instruments offering expanded data storage and additional measurement features.

Each model linked below is its own product page with pre-owned-matched pricing. Site Master instruments listed as Pre-Owned have been through ValueTronics inspection and performance verification; Factory New units carry the manufacturer warranty. Use the comparison table to narrow by frequency range, spectrum analysis capability, two-port configuration, and data storage capacity, then click through to the specific model that fits the application.

The S332B specifically combines cable and antenna analysis from 25 to 3300 MHz with spectrum analysis from 100 kHz to 3.0 GHz in a single instrument, making it the choice when both transmission line maintenance and on-site RF spectrum measurement are needed in the same field visit. Data storage supports up to 200 memory locations with alpha-numeric labeling and time/date stamping.

Frequency range divides the family into three groups: lower-frequency models S113B and S114B (5 to 1200 MHz), mid-range cellular and PCS models S251A/S251B (625 to 2500 MHz), broadband models S331A/S331B/S332B (25 to 3300 MHz) and S400A (25 to 4000 MHz), and microwave models S810A (3.3 to 10.5 GHz), S818A (3.3 to 18 GHz), and S820A (3.3 to 20 GHz). Within each frequency tier, instruments differ by sweep speed, resolution, data storage capacity, and presence of spectrum analysis or two-port transmission measurement capability.

The S114B and S332B add spectrum analysis covering 0.1 to 1200 MHz and 0.1 to 3000 MHz respectively. The S251A and S251B add a second test port supporting gain and insertion loss measurement from 625 to 2500 MHz. The S800 series microwave instruments add vector error correction and waveguide calibration support. See the comparison table for the full specification breakdown by model.

Model Frequency Range Built-in Features Memory Locations
