The CT4072 is an active differential probe with a 100 MHz bandwidth, built around a high input impedance and low input capacitance. It measures the voltage difference between two points across a wide input range that extends up to ±3500 V (DC + AC peak), and it is compatible with oscilloscopes from all major manufacturers.

A differential probe lets an engineer measure the voltage between two arbitrary nodes that are both floating relative to ground, without referencing the oscilloscope's chassis ground. The CT4072 supports a wide variety of measurements across its input range, with switchable attenuation of 100x, 200x, 500x, and 1000x so the probe can be matched to the amplitude of the signal under measurement.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois.

Important: Absolute maximum rated input voltage: 2500 Vrms (each side to ground).
Important: Accuracy is based on a DMM with 10 MΩ input impedance.
Important: Maximum input voltage varies by attenuation setting: ±350 V at 100x, ±700 V at 200x, ±1750 V at 500x, and ±3500 V at 1000x (DC + AC peak); observe the input voltage derating curve over frequency.
