The Agilent E8267C is a PSG vector signal generator covering 250 kHz to 20 GHz with Option 520. From a single instrument it produces continuous-wave, analog-modulated, and vector (I/Q) modulated microwave signals, combining the PSG platform's frequency and output capability with full digital modulation.

A vector signal generator produces complex, digitally modulated carriers used to stimulate a device under test. The E8267C maps to that role with standard modulation formats including PSK, QAM, FSK, and MSK, support for multicarrier and multitone signal creation, and emulation of most applicable Agilent 836xxB, 837xxB, and 8340/41B commands for general compatibility with ATE systems built around those signal generators.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.

Brand Heritage

Hewlett-Packard's test and measurement business was spun out as Agilent Technologies in 1999. Agilent's electronic measurement business was subsequently transferred to Keysight Technologies in 2014.

Product Core & Specifications

Important: The Agilent 83550 Series millimeter-wave source modules are not for use with I/Q modulation.
Important: All specifications and characteristics apply over a 0 to 55 °C range (unless otherwise stated) and apply after a 45 minute warm-up time.
Important: Recommended calibration cycle: 24 months.
Important: Storage below –20 °C: instrument states may be lost. Save and recall of user files and instrument states from the Option 005 Hard Drive is guaranteed only over the range 0 to 40 °C.
Important: For Master/Slave (two-tone) source synchronization, use Agilent Technologies part #8120-8806 Master/Slave interface cable.
Usage tip: user flatness correction is compatible with the Agilent EPM Series power meters (E4418B and E4419B) for automated remote flatness calibration.
