View full details

The Agilent E4431A is a digital RF signal generator that delivers a calibrated, modulated RF source from 250 kHz to 2000 MHz. A member of the ESG series, it combines a synthesized carrier with a full suite of analog modulation modes and I/Q vector modulation, providing a single-box stimulus source for both general-purpose RF work and digitally modulated communications signals.

With the optional I/Q baseband generator (Option UN3 or UN4), the E4431A generates framed, digitally modulated signals for the DECT, GSM (including DCS1800/PCS1900), NADC, PDC, PHS, and TETRA standards. The baseband generator structures data into frames and timeslots that can be configured as traffic or control channels, with each timeslot accepting a user file, a PRBS pattern (PN9 or PN15), or external serial data with the appropriate clock.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own test-and-measurement inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units leave the warehouse factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.

Brand Heritage

Agilent Technologies was spun off from Hewlett-Packard in 1999. In 2014, Agilent's electronic measurement business was established as a separate company, Keysight Technologies, which now supports this product line.
