The Aim-TTi TGR6000 is a 6 GHz RF signal generator covering 10 MHz to 6000 MHz. It is intended for CW (carrier wave) applications where modulation is not required, an approach that avoids the costs associated with adding modulation and keeps it significantly lower in cost than other 6 GHz generators. Output level is adjustable from −110 dBm to +7 dBm in 0.1 dB steps, with frequency set to 10 Hz resolution and entered in dBm, µV/mV, or dBµV.
An RF signal generator produces a known, controllable signal used to stimulate a device under test, against which an engineer measures the response. The TGR6000 serves CW and swept or stepped CW applications: a single carrier can be held steady, or frequency and amplitude can be swept across a defined range or driven through a user-defined list to match virtually any required test pattern. Its trim function lets the output level be adjusted to calibrate an entire test set-up.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Operating since 1992, we support engineers and labs with both new and used test and measurement equipment across a broad range of categories.
Aim-TTi is the brand under which Thurlby Thandar Instruments Ltd. designs and builds its test instruments in Europe, based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom.
