The Agilent E4432A, also designated the ESG-D3000A, is a digital RF signal generator covering 250 kHz to 3000 MHz. It produces continuous-wave and digitally modulated RF signals with 0.01 Hz frequency resolution and a calibrated output that reaches +13 dBm at the low end of its band, serving as a programmable source for stimulus-response measurements across the HF through microwave spectrum.

An RF signal generator supplies a known, controllable carrier that a device under test can be measured against; without a clean reference signal, characterizing receivers, amplifiers, and communication subsystems is not possible. The E4432A extends this role into the digital domain through its optional internal baseband generator, which supports the DECT, GSM (including DCS1800/PCS1900), NADC, PDC, PHS, and TETRA formats and generates the framed, filtered, and bursted waveforms those standards define.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000-square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, so the instruments we list are equipment we physically keep on hand. Every used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house against the manufacturer's published specifications before it ships, while new units leave factory-sealed exactly as received.

Brand Heritage

This instrument carries Agilent Technologies branding, the test-and-measurement business that Hewlett-Packard spun off as a separate company in 1999. In 2014 that test-and-measurement business was established as Keysight Technologies, the name under which the line is supported today.
