The Keysight InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series is a family of bench oscilloscopes spanning 70 MHz, 100 MHz, and 200 MHz bandwidths, available in 2- and 4-analog-channel digital storage (DSO) and mixed-signal (MSO) configurations. Keysight positions the series around the power of six instruments in one: a best-in-class oscilloscope, an optional integrated 8-channel mixed-signal oscilloscope, an optional serial protocol analyzer, an optional WaveGen built-in function generator, an integrated digital voltmeter, and an integrated 5-digit counter.

An oscilloscope captures voltage waveforms over time and displays them on screen, letting an engineer see a signal's amplitude, frequency, timing, and shape. On the 2000 X-Series, the MSO option adds 8 digital timing channels for correlating analog behavior with digital logic, while the optional serial decode packages cover embedded buses (I2C, SPI, and UART/RS232/422/485) and automotive buses (CAN and LIN), each with trigger, decode, and Mask Limit Testing.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, which lets us turn orders around quickly and stand behind what we ship.

Brand Heritage

The test and measurement business behind this instrument traces a well-known corporate lineage: Hewlett-Packard's measurement operation was spun out as Agilent Technologies in 1999, and Agilent's electronic measurement business became Keysight Technologies in 2014.

Compare Other Models in This Series

The InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series comprises twelve models that share a common architecture — 2 GSa/s sample rate, 1 Mpt-per-channel MegaZoom IV memory, the 8.5-inch WVGA display, and up to 200,000 wfms/s update rate — while differing in bandwidth, channel count, and whether digital channels are present.

Each model is offered in a digital storage (DSO) form with 2 or 4 analog channels, or a mixed-signal (MSO) form that adds 8 digital timing channels. Bandwidth is offered in 70 MHz, 100 MHz, and 200 MHz tiers, and because bandwidth, MSO, WaveGen, and measurement applications are all license-upgradable, a model can be configured upward after purchase.

Each new model linked below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the specific bandwidth, channel count, and DSO or MSO configuration that fits your requirement to see availability and pricing for that exact model.

The models separate along three axes shown in the comparison table that follows: bandwidth (70 MHz on the 200x models, 100 MHz on the 201x models, 200 MHz on the 202x models), analog channel count (2 channels on x002/x012/x022, 4 channels on x004/x014/x024), and the presence of digital channels (DSO-prefixed models have analog channels only; MSO-prefixed models add 8 digital channels).

All twelve models hold the sample rate at 2 GSa/s and memory at 1 Mpt per channel, so the choice between them is driven by required bandwidth, the number of analog channels, and whether mixed-signal (digital) acquisition is needed. Refer to the comparison table for the exact bandwidth, sample rate, memory, and channel configuration of each model.

Model Bandwidth Analog Ch Digital Ch
DSO-X 2004A 70 MHz 4
DSO-X 2002A 70 MHz 2
MSO-X 2002A 70 MHz 2 8
MSO-X 2004A 70 MHz 4 8

Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.
