The TDK-Lambda Genesys family is a line of programmable AC/DC power supplies engineered to deliver flexible, reliable power for OEM, industrial, and laboratory systems. This 2.4kW 1U series packs a full 2400 watts of regulated output into a single rack unit, offered in twelve models spanning output voltages from 8 V to 600 V and currents up to 300 A. Every model in the series shares an identical front panel, rear-panel analog connections, and digital interface command set, so designers can move between voltage and current ratings without relearning the control scheme.
Genesys supplies are designed to meet the demands of OEM, industrial, and laboratory applications, with 19-inch rack-mount capability for ATE and OEM systems. System designers benefit from standard remote-programming features such as Global Commands and high-speed status monitoring on the RS-485 bus. Test systems built around the IEEE-488 bus can realize significant cost savings using the optional IEEE Multi-Drop interface, which lets a single Master control up to 30 RS-485 Multi-Drop slaves. OEM designers can select from a wide variety of inputs and outputs depending on the application and location.

TDK-Lambda is the power-supply brand of TDK Corporation. The business traces back to Lambda Electronics and later Densei-Lambda, which TDK Corporation acquired and rebranded as TDK-Lambda in 2008.
The Genesys family spans a complete range of programmable power configurations: 1U 750W half-rack, 1U 750W/1500W/2400W full-rack, 2U 3.3kW/5kW, and 3U 10kW/15kW. All members are identical in front panel, rear-panel analog, and digital interface commands, so a lab or production line can standardize on one control approach across very different power levels.
This 2.4kW 1U group comprises twelve models, from GEN 8-300 to GEN 600-4, each delivering a full 2400 W. The models differ in their voltage-and-current pairing rather than in total power, letting designers choose the rating that best fits the device under test while keeping a consistent footprint and command set.

The twelve 2.4kW models trade voltage for current within the same 2400 W envelope: GEN 8-300 delivers up to 8 V at 300 A, while GEN 600-4 delivers up to 600 V at 4 A, with ten intermediate pairings in between. Output connection hardware also follows the rating, with 8 V to 100 V models using rugged bus-bars and 150 V to 600 V models using a wire-clamp connector.

Important: The RS-232/RS-485 serial communication cable used to connect the power supply to the host PC (P/N GEN/232-9, GEN/232-25 or GEN/485-9) is ordered separately; only the GEN/RJ45 serial link cable is included with the power supply.
Important: Ripple and noise p-p is measured with a JEITA RC-9131A (1:1) probe for 8V~300V models; for the 600V model it is measured with a 10:1 probe.
